The major U.S. auto companies have asked the government for a program that would provide them with several billion dollars in assistance. The auto companies say they may go into bankruptcy without that assistance. Based on what you have read or heard, do you favor or oppose this program?

How come I haven't seen any polls on the Bank bailouts? We've given approx. twice as much to Citigroup as all of the Big 3 are demanding combined.

61% of Americans favor some sort of government help for the auto industry.

I don't like government to provide billion dollars in assistance to the auto companies whom are just their for their business, but even we need to understand that those business are providing jobs to the common man, so i think its time to assist those companies to protect a common American
