1994 again? Heh, yeah right. Look at those favourables for the republican party. Rs will probably make net gains, but they'll be small. Maybe 10-15 house seats and a couple of senate seats. Democrats get better scores than republicans across the board here. And damn that public option is popular!

National favorables mean diddly squat. This is smelling more and more like 1994....

Hmm still smells like 2006 and this poll is up from the other Q poll from yesterday. Care to explain what in this poll makes you think this is 1994?

Stillow:

A dropping presidnetial approval rating. Dems trying to push thru an unpopular helath care reform bill. VA and NJ governros both going to the repubs the year prior. An enegized opposition. Do I need to go on?

____________________

Xenobion:

Yes you need to go on because these numbers are up from yesterday, so unless the GOP opposition decided to give up last night I simply don't get your point. If you see from the poll, people actually trust Obama more than republicans on healthcare. That's not going to get any repubo's elected.

Stillow:

Ya...I heard the same thing in 1993....you repubs better not oppose health care...blah blah.......its all speculation right now, but I suspect we will have this discussion in Nov 2010 and you will not be to happy.

Xenobion:

I'm not here to speculate. The information in this poll is contradictory to your statement. The horse races are that way ===>

1994? So, who's going to write the next "Contract on America"? Boehner? McConnell? They have approval ratings in the teens. Besides, welfare reform is a non-issue today. Health care will have passed by then and people will see that all the nonsense put forth by the Reps was untrue.

Just the usual wishful thinking on the Right based on . . . nothing. This poll supports the notion that the Reps are the ones who are out of touch with the American people.

Same old stuff you libs always do...we know whats best for you...lets just pass an unpopular bill and shove it down the peoples' throats....they are to stupid to know whats best for them anyway..............your arrogance is astounding soemtimes.

Xenobion:

Gotta be as arrogant as republicans. We gotta sit here and bicker with you because the roles were reversed for the past 8 years. The Dem base is just as angry as the republican one.
