Don't you worry! The Dems in congress will either dismiss this poll as an outlier...or just plain dismiss this poll.

The Dems in Congress are dismissing the american people by trying to force soemthing on them they do not want.

Stillow:

The Dems are also dismissing themselves from a job in 2010 and 2012.

Glad we don't vote from polls because there is a reason Obama was elected on a platform of Universal Healthcare. Fivethirtyeight has already concluded that more people would vote against the Dems/Obama is they didn't push healthcare than if they did so just deal ;p

Right X...I hope you guys keep believing that. Obama was NOT elected on universal healthcare, he was elected because the economy was in severe reession....no ohter reason. Dems are going to get crushed in 2010 and 2012. When support for your bill is in the 30's and the people who like what they have now is in the 80's....then only koolaid drinking libs think that means to proceed with the crappy bill.

5 days ago, Rasmussen had 47/49 approval for health care... obviously, that was unacceptable to them, so they "redid" the poll.

Evan Rasmussen stated that this could be "statistical noise"... you know, numbers changing by double digits in a couple of days.... whatever...

Iraq spending bill was in the 20's for support under Bush. Get back to me when Healthcare is in the same place. Sad that we'll always have Bush as an excuse of something absolutely worse no matter what people try to stir up here. =\

Obama was not elected on health care reform? Really? Gee, that was only the NUMBER ONE issue of his campaign? If people voted for him for something else, then they really weren't paying attention.

And this is a crappy bill... it was written by Republicans and is way too weak to do anything.... Real reform would be extending Medicare to everybody, but we can't have common sense reforms in our congress, no way... gotta prop up a horribly failed and broken system and bankrupts the sick. Why? 'Cos Rush Limbaugh thinks its great! Meanwhile, companies are moving out jobs to countries where they have universal healthcare 'cos it costs them a heck of a lot less than here...

BTW, Stillow, just got a report from our local hospital here. The management team has reported that if health care reform fails in congress, the hospital will most likely close in a few years 'cos there won't be enough insured patients to pay the bills. I realize that republicans think there is no crisis, but just wait until you get sick and have nowhere to go 'cos you are broke from the incredibly high medical bills....

It would be nice if the GOP, for once, put the good of the country first instead of their own selfish political opportunism on the backs of the weakest members of our society, the chronically ill. The GOP plan is simple. If you get sick, die quickly, 'cos the GOP isn't going to do anything to help fix the problem. Republicans create problems, not fix them.

Considering that Rasmussen had nearly even agreement (47/49) only 4 days ago, yeah, I'd say that this is an outlier... or a manufactured poll, as Rasmussen likes to do...

Didn
't your parents teach you that two wrongs do make a right? You do not justify stupid behavior by pointing to other stupid behavior.

The NUMBER ONE issue as you put it was not health care reform during the campaign. it was the wait for it, wait for it....... economy..........!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Stillow, did your parents teach you that what may or may not be popular doesn't necessarily make it right or wrong? Healthcare isn't voting for head cheerleader.

Obama was elected for Universal Healthcare. I know you didn't watch the democratic debates but he was getting attacked by Clinton for not going far enough on healthcare. Many other Dems may agree. There are too many divergent wants about healthcare. Its no simple YES/NO debate here.

I did watch the dem debates...and if we were voting for head cheerleader then I would be in full support of the bill.
