Not as a progressive, not as a Democrat, but as a human being, I have pretty much ignored these healthcare polls. It is sad that our leaders have made this into a liberal/conservative issue. I think what they need to do is to watch days of film of stories of individuals who have suffered from bills they can't pay and who have loved ones who have died from lack of preventive care. Every member of the house and senate has great health care. They really can't connect to the people who have suffered from this system. Health care organizations need to recruit people who lost their health care, who won't come across as poor welfare cases, but get hard working people who had good jobs who lost their health care and have horror stories to tell. I think Boxer, Kerry, Sanders and Alan Grayson and Dennis Kucinich need to bring people like this in on a weekend and have every member of congress and the senate hear their stories. This has become too partisan and the humanity has been lost.

To all those of you who believe we need health care reform, please call your congressman or woman and US senator, regardless of Party and make the suggestion to have a testimonial session on a weekend day, even if it isn't done in one day, but for everyone in the senate and congress to hear from these people. What I mean is to find people to share their health care disaster stories, but look for people who are not ex cons, welfare cases, but are upstanding citizens with good jobs who fell through the cracks.

Unfortunately sir, there are 40,000 dead humans in the US per year because of lack of healthcare coverage. I don't think it is fair for you to say "beating a dead horse" when there are lives at stake.

Actually, there aren't but keep repeating bogus studies to make your point.

Well, it seems that both of you have a different reality, and both are certain that you have possession of the truth. That's why our politics goes nowhere and nothing gets done.

One says "the sky is blue" the other says "the sky is yellow" and then some say that "the sky is green" because it's the moderate middle of the two positions. Then some question if there really is a sky, and all the while the problem with the sky does not get fixed.

No, actually mine is the reality since the study IS a bogus study. THAT IS FACT! As much as you, Farleft and the other Obamabots keep repeating it, you keep making yourselves look more and more foolish.
