The PEW poll has Afghan policy with the flip of this one. What gives??

Way, way off compared to most polls and I don't just mean the approval rating. Every other poll I've seen has slim majorities in favor of sending more troops to Afghanistan and pluralities at the very least in favor of the war there.

Obama's approval on health care is also just ridiculous. It's been negative for months. This, my friends, is an outlier. The only thing that is close to what most other polls have demonstrated is the health care reform support/oppose. The rest is way, way off.

Democrats are really digging their own grave. It is like we never had Bush as our prsident and how can this be change we can believe in when the president has no control over his own party? THey didn't even pass the importation bill of prescription drugs from Canada. It is so obvious that neither party has done a favorable job at putting themselves in the positions of the Americans who are suffering from lack of health care and insurance. It is truly absurd that the debate has taken so long. We waste money to fight a war in Afghanistan prior to the president signing a bill. Democrats are falling apart because they can't agree on anything. Their careers may or may not end, but the politicians in this country are controlled by $$$$$$. It is just business the American way. Until things change our country will be destined to fail.

I wonder why the Republicans had to even have weekend conferences last week for their plan to kill healthcare? With the conservadems like Nelson and Joe Lieberman in the senate wanting a good healthcare plan for insurance companies, and those on the far far left like Kucinich who have great health care ideas, but are living in the wrong country, if they ever expect single payer. This is exactly why people have lost faith in our system is that people have lost hope in our government. Many Democrats are just as much to blame as Republicans. I think the far left and center of the party would rather fight a political civil war at the expense of getting nothing accomplished.

Barack's approval is actually up here to 56/42 from their July survey of 55/42. This is while every other poll has him drop by 10-15 during the same time frame. Very convincing there.
