Finally a poll question on RvW...as most of us suspected, totally overturning it would not have majority support.
Sadly, this issue is going to keep this nation divided for decades until there is definate laws written on when and what type of abortion is legal. Third trimester abortion should be illegal in my opinion, while first trimester abortion should be legal.....I personally believe in the second trimster a woman must be made to watch an ultrasound of her baby to fully understand what she is about to do.
The last stat I read said there have been over 40 million abortions done in this country since 1973......that is disgusting and it is a very bad stain on American morality, we should take steps to reduce the nummber of abortions. In this day and age with all the tools and education available on how to prevent pregnancy, there is simply no excuse to have this many abortions taking place in society....not in the 21st century.
We must keep in context these are innocent babies, who's only crime is there parents are irresponsible....this isn't like the death penalty for example, where punishment is be handed out to someone who has proven he cannot live among us....these are kids who never had a chance...I think this country is better than this.....we should put an end to late term abortion, many babies are able to survive outside the womb as early as 24 weeks.

What to make of Pelosi's approval rating? On the one hand, that's not very good for any official to be -9 in approve/dissaprove.

On the other hand, Congress as a whole polls very poorly, reaching single digits in approval during the last term. In that context, a 39/48 split doesn't look so bad.

I doubt her approval is actually that high. To me, CNN is one of the more suspect pollsters, but I think her approval is in the 20's. Its going to drop even lower now that has embarrassed herself by lying about what she knew and didn't know about waterbaording. Did you see her press conference? She was studdering, she was all over the place and she couldn't even comment without reading her statement. Those are all classic signs of someone who is lying and covering something up.

I am wondering if the RvW poll isn't skewed. I believe most Americans are against it if for no other reason other than it's BAD LAW! It's NOT in our Constitution, and should be determined by the states not the SCOTUS.

Yeah, I don't what she has done honestly except give news the health care bill will not pass. And as many have pointed out she is not a warm person. ever see her smile? I guess politics does that to you unless you are Cheney with that crooked, hunting mis-aimed rifle grin look.
