My favorite thing about Fox News Polls is that they survey an equal amount of Democrats and Republicans. It's laughable they don't admit that there are more registered Democrats.

This poll is not accurate this week, because there are more Dems than Republicans, and these are registered voters not likely voters. If Zogby and Ras. have Obama higher among likely voters, it is likely that this isn't accurate.

Bush's approval rating was polled by Fixed News. That asshole is pretty much was the reason for this mess of unpaid taxcuts, wars, deregulation, and raping of the treasury.

And of course the aloof (lobbyist bought) Democrats let this happen from 2001 through 2006 when they where no longer scared of the Republican falsely waving the American flag.

djneedle83 - Settle down. Many of the instittuions that caused this mess were run by Democrats. Fannie for example. Or how about every favorite democrat scam artist Bernie Madoff. Whats happening now is the combination of private and public sector corruption buried deep within both parties. Remember Barney's Frank saying Freddie and Fannie were great buys just months before they crashed? Speical kickback deals for democrats like Conrad and Dodd to look the other way while these Dems bled the system dry.

As for the poll it is skewed because of party id.

There are big party id problems with a lot of polls this year. Ie: I find it hard to believe 45% of people identify as independent but lots of polls have them that high.

aaron - Well the increasing indy numbers could be attributed to the fact peopleseem to be getting really tired of btoh the dems and the reps. I certainly lean right, but am a registered indy. I think the disgust for both the party's is real and is growing.

People saying they are independent is fashionable but meaningless. In federal elections most independents are very partisan. Stillow is exhibit A. It is in local elections that partisanship weakens.
