IdahoMulato:

The difference between this and the NPR poll is the party ID.
These polls also shows Prez Obama has the highest favorability ratings overall. After the healthcare legislation brouhaha, what he has to do is to close his favorability and approval ratings.

53 for Obama approval...the trend downward continues....

Favorables don't mean jack. Job approval matters and it has gone down because the economy is bad and because the Democratic messaging on health care has been terrible. At the same time liberals have to stop acting like children and realise reality does not fit with their wishes. Obama signs the bill they want, particularly in this economy then indies aren't happy, Repubs are furious - overreach. He signs a bill with no public option then liberals whine and stay home in protest in 2010. This brinkmanship is not helpful.

@conspiracy

You realize the chances now of a public option are extremely minimal based on what Congress is doing....

And you must have missed it, CNN, USA Today and Newsweek thin kthe recession is over!!

Biden said last week this will probably be a jobless recovery...if it is, Obama is hurt by that....but that could have been just Biden putting his foot in his mouth again....

Obama is in a real catch 22 on this issue of health reform.

I know that. And liberals are pissed because of it. They need to grow-up, stop making threats and regroup to fight another day.
