The good news for the GOP is in Jan of next year it may be Speaker of the House John Boehner.

Boehner does not have to be the Speaker.

Anyone else can challenge him.

The good news for the country is in Jan of next year Nancy Pelosi may be walking around dazed and bewildered trying to find her new basement cubicle.

This anti career poltician sentiment might get carried to Washington and the big fat earmark sucking establisment might be pushed out of the way for a group that believes in change and doesn't just put it on a bumper sticker.

It is still too early for the GOP to celebrate and talking about Speaker Boehner. Democrats need to do ads that will portray both Cantor and Boehner quoting their ridiculous comments like the time when Cantor advised the older 60 year old black lady who couldn't get health insurance to sell her house, file bankruptcy and get medicaid. Cantor realized he couldn't answer her question without recomending another government health care progam called Medicaid.

Dems need to run ads for their candidates to talk about their lack of bi-partisanship and most partisan voting record ever since Obama became president. Lets say many Dems in congress supported Bush policies than the other way round.

Not every Republican congressman or woman are in districts where the GOP in general is all that popular. Democratic groups and Moveon.org can target the Dems in about 5 districts like these, and spend money in these places rather than spend money in places like TN or Arkansas with open seats, where the GOP will win anyhow.

The election is six months out. The economy is improving fast and now gaining jobs. Dems have inched ahead on the generic ballot. Goopers may be surprised at how small their gains are in November.
