What the hell kind of questions are these?
Should Senators support or oppose Elena Kagan's nomination to the Supreme Court based only on whether she is qualified to be a justice, or should they also consider her views on controversial issues like abortion and gay marriage?
We're going to just inject a couple of items which fire people up but have questionable at best connection to actual work by SCOTUS. Roe is settled law, and gay marriage won't be up for review any time soon. How is this a good question wording?

So only 29% are satisfied with the direction of the country but the Democrats were chosen more on the generic ballot? Makes no sense at all.

Wow - look at that bump in approval for healthcare.
Healthcare 44/50 on 3/23 - 6 point net disapproval. This poll: 40/51 - 11 point net disapproval gap. Is that the bump Nancy expected when she said everyone would fall in love with this monstrosity after it passed?

Now it only goes to prove that Rasmussen poll is so full of it,because no other poll shows the Democrats or Obama losing that badly,Rasmussen is really playing to the conservative base,i hear his poll in the Penn Senate race will come out today showing Tomey leading by 13%,a few days ago he had Tomey losing by 4%,this is ridicoulous, the Democrats needs to call this guy out,his poll will also show Forina leading Boxer by 15% today, now how can that be when Forina is for the ARZ law, this guy is trying to under poll Democrats so badly that other polls will show Democrats losing as well.its funny how Rasmussen stop polling 2 weeks before an election.this guy is doing what Foxnews in the Gop wants him to do,Foxnews in the Gop was caught off guard when Penn-12 went so sodily for the Democrats, after that happened Rasmussen has been under polling Democrats so badly, lastweek Rasmmussen said on Foxnews he dont poll House races, but yesterday he was polling the House race in Idaho i think, what a liar this guy is

"Sean Murphy:
So only 29% are satisfied with the direction of the country but the Democrats were chosen more on the generic ballot? Makes no sense at all."
Makes perfect sense. The Republicans created the mess, and they've gone so far right that a lot of people are reluctant to vote for them.

Paleo:
The economy started taking a turn for worse in 2007 when the Democrats first had control of Congress and things have only gotten worse. Your party will pay heavily in November for its leftist policies.

LOL. Its sad that people have been so indoctrinated to believe such lies. I blame our terrible public school system.

Also in this Quinnipiac poll there is something like 9% undecided on whether they approve or disapprove of the President. How can you be undecided on someones job performance?

"Also in this Quinnipiac poll there is something like 9% undecided on whether they approve or disapprove of the President. How can you be undecided on someones job performance?"
That's the 9% that voted for him that ashamed of their vote but they can't bring themselves to say they disapprove.
Or put another way, 52% do not approve of the job Obama is doing but only 43% will admit it.
Obama received 53% of the vote. When is the last time that everyone who voted for him approved of his job performance? Looks like it was about 10 months ago. It only took voters about 6 months to realize what a big mistake they made.
