There are so many catastrophic unintended consequences with this HC bill you rarely hear through all the noise.
Here is just one:
http://www.chicagobreakingbusiness.com/2010/03/caterpillar-health-care-bill-would-cost-it-100m.html
"A letter Thursday to President Barack Obama and members of Congress signed by more than 130 economists predicted the legislation would discourage companies from hiring more workers and would cause reduced hours and wages for those already employed."
Anyone who is under impression that at this point, this push is anything but a Dem party salvation effort over the greater good of the people in this country is delusional.

Why would the RNC publish a poll like this showing a close generic congressional ballot. Does not make sense to me

For a partisan pollster, the numbers don't seem to far off.

Not only that but Obama's approval rating is stronger than average. It is also interesting that they didn't check the favorability of McConnell and Boehner.

Anyone who is truly concerned with the federal deficit will get behind the health care bill. This bill will reduce the deficit and extend the fiscal viability of Medicare for at least 9 years.
All you have to do is look at how the stock market has been doing during this year long health care debate to understand that the business community is not worried about the health care bill.

Actually the approval/disapproval ratings are right in line with Gallup and several other pollsters. But it is really odd that the RNC can't find a way to make things look as good for Republicans as Rasmussen does. It's a head-scratcher, that's for sure.
