1.1% margin of error? Really? Hysterical.

Pollster.com should stop using Zogby for any reason except humor. At least YouGov has a decent track record over in the UK.

Bob in SJ:

Well, if you have that many respondents, your margin of error is really that low.

Now as to the quality of the poll, it doesn't matter how many respondents you have if you selection method is poor.

Mike E:

"1.1% margin of error? Really? Hysterical."

Just FYI, the margin of error goes down with increasing sample size, this survey has a much bigger sample size than most polls, 8,509 versus, typically 500-1000. Thus its reasonable that the margin of error is 1.1% (I know it looks jarring when you are used to seeing MOEs in the 3-5% range).

Obama is going to win in 2012,because the GOP don't have anyone who can beat him...Obama might not get 365 Electoral votes this time, but he will get close to 300...The pickups the GOP gain in November, they might lose in 2012,because Millions of Obama supporters will be going back to the polls...The GOP is not going to be able to keep pace, because they just wont have the numbers when all Democrats come back to the polls....By 2020 the Democrats is going to have over 70 Million strong supporters up from 58 Million today, and the GOP is only going to have 50 Million strong supporters up from 47 Million today, there is only going to be 35 Million independent voters, which means the GOP is going to have to get 80% of the independents to win.... 64% of all future voters are going to be Democrats

2 weeks ago Zogby had Obama approval ratings with Blacks at 76%,and with Latinos at 45%...Last week Gallup had Obama approval rating with Blacks at 80%,and Latinos at 50%,that's why why Obama approval rating average was 42-50 with Gallup last week....Now if you Republicans think your going to get 25% of the Black vote in 2012,and 50% of the Latino vote in 2012,you nuts really need to go to the funny farm.... Its not going to happen you screwballs...The last Republican to get that higher percentage of Minority votes was Teddy Roosevelt over 106 years ago.

By 2020 the Democrats should have 210 Solid Blue Districts,up from 170 today, and 54 Solid Senate seats,up from 42 today...I went back in did alot of research, and the future of the GOP is not good, because they cant scare White people forever! The GOP is going to have to go out in get Minority voters sooner or later,or face disastrous results in the near future.

There goes melvin and his racist crap again. When are democrats going to get to the point that they stop dropping everyone into buckets by race?

Melvin is posting exactly the same claptrap that we were hearing 2 years ago when the liberals were talking about the end of the GOP forever. According to what they said then, there wouldn't be any GOP party left by now.

Yeah, good one, CC.

Seems just three-four months ago, Dems and the media were still painting GOP a "regional party". Meanwhile, largest GOP takeover of the House since Lincoln looms.

Talk about moronic predictions..

Keep reporting facts. The wingnuts can't stand facts because all they do is rant.
Rant is not a policy.

Compcon: Your side is racist and has been for years! It's people like you who drop people into buckest by race, the specific quotes of Republican operatives from Hastings Wyman, who used to work for Strom Thurmond and then Nixon, boasted about targeting white voters, as well as the late Lee Atwater, who said that you can't use the "N" word anymore but can talk about "government spending" because it helps some minorities.

Next Question?

Next question? What about these Dems:

DFW freethinker:

And the silence is deafening from our Democrat friends.....

There are undoubtedly thousands of other racist and bigoted quotes from Democrats. And thousands more from Republicans and Independents.

Neither party has a monopoly on virtue either in what they say or in what they do though they tend to think of themselves that way. Dems think Republicans are far worse; Republicans think the same of Dems. There are people in both parties that have said and continue to say terrible things.

Policies which help all Americans are what's important, especially now. The Party whose actions result in millions upon millions of Americans needlessly suffering, through its action or inaction, does something far more pernicious and downright evil than an individual candidate making an offensive remark.

"The Party whose actions result in millions upon millions of Americans needlessly suffering, through its action or inaction, does something far more pernicious and downright evil"

What actions? Downright evil? You sound insane.
