Amazazing how stable these numbers are across the board. Obama between 48-53, McCain 39-45, never getting above 45. Another poster here said that most of the undecideds would break to McCain. It seems to me the majority of undecided voters at this point are white women at least in looking at the cross tabs from various state and national polls. This is not necessairly a group that skews pro-McCain. According to the latest Gallup weekly analyisis of demographic groups Obama splits these voters with McCain 44-44. If the economy is #1 with these voters that helps Obama. So McCain may not be at his floor, but his ceiling. IE I think 46- maybe 47 % is his ceiling.

GALLUP LEAD COLLAPSES TO +3 AMONG LIKELY VOTERS!

"The "traditional" likely voter model, which Gallup has employed for past elections, factors in prior voting behavior as well as current voting intention. This has generally shown a closer contest, though with Obama still ahead. Today's results show Obama with a three-point advantage over McCain using this likely voter model, 49% to 46%. That is slightly closer than the average five-point advantage for Obama among traditional likely voters since Gallup began measuring them last week.

Wow!

mccain at 43 matches his high for the last two weeks. with three weeks to go and obama holding strong in the 50's and leading in most states up for grabs that where taken by bush in 04, it doesn't look good for mccain but it looks great for america.

I'm getting more annoyed with people obsessed with boomshack than by boomshack himself which is quite suprising. Take boomshack for what he is, a joke. Don't start arguing with him like he's serious because he's just trolling around. And don't say that you're just having fun with his expense because some of the posters here really cling on to every word boomshack says which is not useful at all.
