Rasmussen has been showing an average of 6 points edge for Obama for (almost) the last week ... even with their new weighing (for democrats and republicans) ...
Yeah where is BOOM? There has to be a devil's advocate somewhere... maybe we are missing something in these polls. I am sure McCain is still within the MOE!
Remember, McCain is going to magically catch up because boom is making up things off the top of his head, and saying their from articles and are facts, LOL.
Liberal! Bias! Rasmussen is left-leaning! Boom I miss you, but I get the impression we won't see you a lot now. Thank youy brillant republicans fellows for the mess they contributed to make.
Any hollering and Dem celebration over these numbers is a very bad idea. There is 5 weeks to go before this election, and polls up or down, this is going to shift a lot. Just as the Wall Street crisis introduced unforeseen variables, more unforeseen variables will arrive. Palin has been reduced to a mental midget in the eyes of the press, so anything beyond that (which is inevitable) in the debate could lead to a strong rebound for her approval. Likewise, the next McCain/Obama debate is going to be a very risky tightrope walk for Obama due to how well he did in the first debate.
This country's news cycle has nothing but contempt for anybody or anything it admired but three weeks ago. If I were running the Obama campaign, I would recommend that they get their candidate to be very grim and serious, and not project even one moment of pride or premature satisfaction. We election has a long way to go.
This all about the electoral map. He just needs to make a few trips to the North and make sure MN, MI and WI are secured in his favor. These are all Kerry States. I do not know why he hasnt made his way to New Hampshire yet. That one trip will turn it blue.
Kerry '04 + CO, NM, IOWA
... and its over
Kerry '04 + VA, NM, IOWA
... and its over
I can go on and on with possibilities and roads to the White House. It's endless with these new battlegound states.

Booyah, Obama/Biden 08! This from a notably biased Republican pollster.

There goes boomshak's insistence that the polls are heading back to a tie. This isn't even a "statistical tie".
