yes, and 14% of people don't know their own political affiliation. Seriously, 14% of people are out there thinking "gosh, I just don't know if I'm an independent?"

I have developed what I call the "Wagner Theory of Threes". Particularly in these extreme partisan times, 33% of the country will support or oppose anything for no other reason that partisanship.

33% disapprove of Obama. 32% Approve of BP - which means they disapprove of and therefore blame Obama. Makes perfect sense.

Then again, this is ApGfK. Their polls are among the worst of the outliers.
