Thank you PPP. I know you lean slightly in our favor but I like the number 52.

According to the guys over at PPP, they'll be releasing a PA poll later this evening; to be followed by polls for North Carolina, Ohio, Florida, Indiana, Missouri, Nevada, Montana,, and Georgia. It could be a late night! :-)

Some details about the Times-Dispatch poll: It was conducted by Mason-Dixon, has a 4% MoE, 9% undecided it was conducted Wednesday and Thursday, and is based on phone interviews with 625 registered voters who said they are likely to cast ballots.

No wonder the political analysts said Obama would win by a landslide.

So the Times-Dispatch has exactly the same #'s as the Mason-Dixon. Can we then assume, it's the same poll?

Northern Observer...the sourcing of that Times-Dispatch poll being the earlier released Mason-Dixon poll was discussed earlier tonight. Of course, M-D has consistently shown a "house effect" toward the Republicans as well as measuring the race from the middle of last week (before the Obama infomercial, and a number of other events).
Really their numbers didn't show that much of a shift...but it has given hope to those that don't actually track the individual polls or look at the dates and sample sizes.

These recent positive numbers may be showing some effect of Obama's half-hour ad on Wednesday night.

As long as he is over 50 percent

Remember Florida in 2000 - NOTHING is over until the last vote has been cast AND the last lawyer has gone back home... ;->
So GET OUT THE VOTE!
