Yup, mandalorian, seems like Zogby didn't have anything good for Drudge to report. Look for a slight Obama gain tomorrow, or at least the same margin as today. Then watch Obama's lead increase as the last weekend polls roll off the 3-day tracker on Thursday am.

Yawn. WA hasn't voted for a Republican Presidential candidate in almost 30 years. No time soon!

Here's some news from Zogby: Dr. James Zogby, President of the Arab American Institute, said that "A combination of factors point not only to a huge Obama victory among Arab American voters-but a dramatic surge in the percentage of Arab Americans identifying as democrats." Noting that Arab Americans in Michigan represent about 5% of that state's electorate, while in Virginia and Ohio they comprise almost 2% of the vote, he continued "this can have an impact not only in the presidential election but in down ticket contests as well."
Who is James Zogby? He is a senior analyst with the polling firm Zogby International, founded and managed by his brother John Zogby, and is a lecturer and scholar on Middle East issues. Wow, you learn something new everyday.

Hang in there Gregoire. I think she won last time by a very few hundred votes. Can't remember the exact number.

Shirefox, Governor Gregoire won by just over 300 votes...On the third recount. This Democrat voted to Re-Elect Rossi.

Correction: Gregoire won by 130 votes on the third recount, as mandated by law & certified by the GOP Sec of State.

Turnout in King County (where Seattle is) for the August runoff primary was 35% -- lower than any other county in the state. As of tonight, Tue 10/28, they already have 28.5% cast.

Big Seattle turnout = Buh bye Rossi

And big rural turnout is enough to balance the most liberal section in Washington. That's what Dino has been doing; talking with those who are being affected the most in Washington state. He is reaching out to the rural communities and it put him over the edge in two counts in 2004. This election will be close, but I'm not banking on a Gregoire sweep, even in Seattle; there are even Obama supporters voting for Dino because his messege of change is similar to tthat of Obamas.
