Who would you NOT support?
In the comments section on my post about Hillary Clinton's support from women, reader timm0 asks:
Has anyone thought to ask this question in a poll:
I will read through the list of candidates. Please tell me which ones you will absolutely, positively NOT vote for?
I'd love to hear what the answers are for that.
Good question. Pollsters often ask exactly that question in large multi-candidate primaries. In fact, the NBC/Wall Street Journal survey asked it on their March 2007 survey (n=1,007 adults):

Ari: Given that the responses add up to more than 100% (114% for the Democrats and 111% for the Republicans) it looks as if respondents were allowed to name more than one candidate.
In addition to NBC/WSJ, are there any other pollsters asking this question - and making this information public?
Quick question - could respondents check as many candidates as they wanted to? For instance, could a person polled say that they would not vote for Clinton, Kucinich, and Biden? Or would the limit be 1 candidate to not vote for?
