POLL: Cook/RT National Survey

A new Cook Political Report/RT Strategies national survey (results, cross tabs) finds:

  • 25% of registered voters believe the U.S. should "send more troops to finish the job" in Iraq.
  • Sen. John McCain is six points ahead of Sen. Hillary Clinton (48% to 42%) in a general election match-up.
