Anyone know why AZ's gov is so unpopular?

LordMike:

The same reason all the other governors are so unpopular... the economy stinks!

This is definitely an anti-incumbency election, no matter what Stu Rothenberg thinks...

Field Marshal:

Then why is Mitch Daniels approval 70%?

LordMike:

And Beebe has an 80% approval rating... as a Democrat...in Arkansas!!

What's your point? You can always pick an outlier or two from the general whole, but, in most cases, governors are hurting.. the degree to which they are hurting depends on tha particulars of each state.

Field Marshal:

My point is that its not entirely anti-incumbent as it is, anti-low quality politicians just like the election in mass wasn't just about anti-Obama or anti-health care. There are a few good politicians out there like Beebe and Daniels but, like always in politics and government, most are of very low worth and deserve to be tossed.

I've heard the AZ budget is in shambles and the Gov is pushing major cuts to the school system and other very much liked programs. Any AZ folk out there?

Field Marshal:

X,

I can imagine it would be with the housing market there, a big driver of its economic growth of the past few years, in shambles.

Any candidate with the name Dean Martin is a sure winner.
