Go Brown, go. Its a race between CA and NY on who can destory themselves quicker.

For Fiorina and Meg Whitman running corporations do not make them qualified to run for governor or senator. I doubt either one of them will have the populist tea party anti wall street message voiced by Sarah Palin, Jim Demint and other fire and brimstone Conservatives. Lets face it both of them could have been ceo's for Fannie, Freddy, GM or Goldman Sachs. They seem like weak candidates for the GOP considering the fact that currently the Democrats are getting labeled by conservatives to be the party of Wall Street. As I see it, the GOP is again talking from both sides of their mouths.

New York is fine. I don't know what you are talking about, Stillow

LOL...NY is fine....stellar financial shape out there in NY. Only libs think massive deficits and debt is a good thing.

Brown was a decent gov before hand. He certainly was around during Cali's good ol' days so he'll poll well. Although he did implement prop 13 but that problem really came down the road later.

Yeah, our state is in better shape than your state of Nevada.

Our state is run by a left wing state legislature and a bafoonfor governor.

My understanding is Nevada's legislature is Dem dominated, the Senate Dems only gained control last year, and otherwise has had much Republican control with Republican Govs and Senate for the past 10+ years. I heard something about Nevada having the most bankrupt banks in the country too or something. I'm curious about your faith in the Republican Party with Republicans like those...

We did very well here for the past decade. It was not unti lthe last couple years Dems took over and you know what they did? Starting raising taxes, we raised taxes on businesses big time here....and it has helped force additional layoffs. Thanks Dems!!!!!!! Gibbons is a baffon...GOP or not, he is lame.

Mayor Good in Vegas really screwed up by allowing to much overdevelopment since 2004...so it has killed hte real estate market here which has lead to massive foreclosures which has lead to bBNk filings.

New York is Broke. Gov patterson just delayed 10% of school/local aid so as to not default on bills. Now Lib dems legislators are suing lib dem Gov. And this is after countless billions in "stimulus" funds.

Compare that to most any conservitive run state.

I agree having to create wealth and balance a budget is definitely not a prerequisite to run a state like CA.

Then why George Bush couldn't do that?
