... yeah but with the MoE that could possibly be a measly 20 point lead. SURGE

If Obama has only a +23 lead in CA, that probably means McCain's internal polls are showing it really tight and he'll be campaigning there any day now.

No Prop 8 Data?

Oops should have followed the link.....Prop 8 (gay marriage ban):

For 44%
Against 52%
DK 4%

A good day for those who believe in personal freedom and equal rights and protections!!!!!

Here's data on Prop. 8. Man the LA Times seems to slant conservative, is that possible? Their headline makes it seem like Prop. 8 could get passed, but then the poll shows it 52 against to 44 for. That's an 8 point difference. Is that really 'eroding in the polls'? The 'No' votes have dropped 2% since August and that's eroding?

I really hope proposition 8 passes. I live and work in Nevada RIGHT NEAR the California border, so I see a lot of people from California on a daily basis. Now I don't want homosexuals to come into my work and into my community now that same sex "marriage" is legal and push their perversion around in my face. It's just sick and wrong.

I think the prop 8 vote will be close mainly because of how heavy-handed the court's decision to overturn the original law was.

The LAT prints Jonah Goldberg's vomit, so it can't be considered too liberal. Honestly, I think they do a pretty good job of not being carried too far in either direction of bias.

Well, I even work in a casino but you can strike a huge difference between gambling and homosexuality. For instance, the thought of gambling doesn't make me want to vomit.

As a Californian, I have mixed feelings about Prop 8: I'm all for people having a choice to do what they want. But marriage is a dysfunctional institution that makes most men miserable. So I'm a little worried that the gay population's embrace of the institution will strengthen it, when in reality, we heteros should be evolving into a happier, marriage-free society like Sweden. I'd like to see a proposition that makes marriage a 5 year renewable contract, not a permanent 14th century yoke that turns men into wage slaves until they die.

If Obama's got that large a lead, Dems may not show at the polls and the Gay Marriage ban may pass. GOTV!!!!!!!!!!!!! Stop the haters!!!!!

logic - that's why we have Domestic Partnership - Prop 8 is about a constitutional amendment to remove rights from a minority class of human beings - who's next?

i was talking more about prostitution being legal in nevada id say paying random women for sex is perverted.
