lol JMSTiger, CT has the economy to spend more, after all like other states, it has been subsidizing southern states for 50 yrs...aka the dreaded welfare states from South Carolina to Mississippi.

Lamont will more likely win this.

CT is affluent and well educated which means a majority people think of the Tea party as a fringe group of absolute maniacs. They exist everywhere but are not respected in CT.

CT also has one of the highest Latino populations in the US next to Florida and those who neighbor Mexico or border a state that borders Mexico.
