This is freaking crazy. This is another New England state where the Democratic lead for governor is less than Senator; very strange.

at this point, likely voter models should be implemented in all polls, since we are in midterms, meaning less turnout than if a president was running, and right now, republicans seem to have a big enthusiasm lead. not saying RV polls are bad, but I like the polls that show both models in the same poll for general election.

They will be in a few weeks. Gallup goes to LVs and I think Quinn does too around Labor Day.

I agree that this is a good time to start seeing numbers that we can compare between differing polling firms. I think this will even things out a lot more

Not that McMahon won't be any less politics as usual than Blumenthal. They are both corrupt Washington insiders. But she only trails Blumenthal by 10 points.

Where as the leads by the Democratic candidates are larger here than Blumenthals leads over McMahon.

Blumenthal has never worked in Washington; he's been purely a CT's Attorney General. Yeah...OK, he's a politician who's distorted his military service record almost as much as Mark Kirk (although he's not lying about his entire life(style) as Kirk is)

McMahon is a Washington insider? She been in private business all her life. Corrupt...well, her looking the other way (if not actively encouraging its use) regarding steroids while so many in her wrestling stable have been dying so young (40s, 50s) makes her beyond merely "corrupt" for me.

My favorite professional wrestler, Bruno Sanmartino has body-slammed both McMahons (especially Vince) on this issue and has testified in Washington on steroid use in pro wrestling.

I thought I read at Gallup recently that they will not start LV until Oct. I hope they start much sooner.

In fact, I, too, wish they would all show adult, RV, and LV, while fully explaining the basis for their LV.

October? Really!

Well, we agree on something then (that they should start their LV screen earlier); that's worth celebrating :-)
