Field Marshal:

Emily,

That should be 2010 Governor: General Election in the third section.

Crist is seriously, seriously screwed. Approval rating barely above 50% and tied with Rubio after leading him by 20 points over the summer. Rubio will win the primary and defeat Meek. Governor's race will probably be pretty close all the way, but I think McCollum wins by a few points.

Field Marshal:

Rubio is becoming the defacto rallying candidate for the 2010 election. Young, articulate, intelligent, true conservative, and effective candidate all in one.

Field Marshall: Thanks for the correction. I apologize for the error.

Go Rubio! LOL!

Wonder why they didn't do a head-to-head match up for the general election. Guess they aren't putting much stock in the chance Meeks beats either of them.

The GOP is going to elect the wrong guy. If Rubio looks to be the winner you will see better Democratic candidates run for this seat.

It seems Marshal is backing Rubio after being for Crist, who is much more electable. I wonder if Stillow is behind Rubio as well. He was all about Crist before.

@FM

Or Rasmussen saw the results and decided not to publish them, because they don't want to make their buddies look bad.

Gopher,

I like both candidates. I don't live in Florida so i wont be voting in this one but would support either.

I do not think Crist is a RINO at all like some conservatives state. Its too bad they are both going for the same seat.

I don't know Flordia well, but if there's 1,000 likely voters and 431 were polled as Republican, a 43% Repub Id seems high for a general election poll. But like I said, I don't know Flordia well...

Thaddeus: I can't say for sure since it doesn't say in the release, but it's likely that they oversampled Republicans for the primary questions -- in other words, some of the Republicans who were asked the primary election question were NOT asked the general election question and thus are not actually part of the 1,000. Hope that helps.

Thanks!
