This should be a good rematch. Iirc, the polls were close on this one back in 2006 as well.

As a resident of MD, I see no reason why voters would want to return Erlich to the governor's office. He campaigned like a moderate but ruled the state from the far right. He deceived the voter period. O'Malley has done a pretty good job, in my opinion and guided the state through some rough economic times. He certainly gets my vote. Also, remember Erlich lost by 6 points even though everyone was expecting a close race.
