Corbett's support is the type that is a mile wide and an inch deep. If PA wasn't so sour on Obama and national dems this year, Corbett would lose. I expect him to be a very vulnerable incumbent in 2014.

I see Corbett rolling to victory in 2014. Buoyed by President Christie's lofty +20 job approval.

Well Dave governor Christie couldn't even figure out the education application, the man and barely beat a hated incumbent governor. Christie right will be lucky if he gets re-elected.

Ooooh, mention Christie and a liberal appears to shoot him down.

Raises my opinion of him.

Anyways, the guy who messed up the education application has already been fired.

I think Corbett, Toomey, Kasich would all be failures, and I am certain that the angry white working class idiots, who vote for them just because they are angry at Obama, will realize that more jobs will be lost; their good paying labor jobs will be outsourced, downsized and they will be working at a grocery store or a bank, making $5 less per hour.

Cristie is turning out to be a failure on one of NJ's most prized issues, education. You'll see his approval will decline. If Obama doesn't get re-elected, History will have it that VA and NJ go for a Democrat.

The bottom line, is that politicians of either party, especially governors are not going to magically lower the unemployment rate. I agree that the Stimulus was too low, but better than nothing.

Virginia and New Jersey still have high unemployment numbers, and don't forget, California, and Nevada also have Republican governors, and Nevada a Republican legislature, and they have 15 percent unemployment.

And yet, the Nevadans are so unhappy with the GOP governor, they're going to elect another by 20 points! Silly, backwards Nevadans.

But the guy who lied about the guy who messed up on the education plan has not been fired. His name is Christie. The guy he fired---Shundler... is an ultraconservative former mayor in Jersey, who now swears Christie's lying about what he (Shundler) told him. If so that also makes Christie a liar for publicly going after Obama while knowing the facts---that Shundler knew that revisions were not allowed to applications and didn't try to make any; this directly contradicts what Christie said publicly

Furthermore, as the video shows, NJ twice during their application hearing was given an opportunity to supplement the record with the missing data...yet they did nothing to correct it and seemed totally incoherent regarding the missing data, even after it was specifically pointed out to them. Christie, as captain of the ship should take responsibility for losing 400M for NJ.

Now Shundler's enough of a snake to lie about this on his own; but even if that's so, Christie went off half-cocked accusing Obama of wrongdoing, when it's clear that 100% of it came from his side.

Imagine if someone in Obama's administration made a clerical error and a terrorist blew up a plane. You'd be defending Obama for firing the clerk?

So...you're loving some Christie aren't you?...well, go for it. There will be plenty more tantrums where this one came from. He's looking more like Ralph Cramden of the Honeymooners every day...in more ways than one.

Corbett is really well-liked in PA. He has handily won attorney general elections in the past in election cycles that weren't so great for republicans. To say that in any other year he would lose has no backing.

Fred,

99% of what Farleft says has no backing. It also has no basis in reality either.

Christie for Prez!
