Mode: Live Telephone Interviews
Pennsylvania 599 LV, 4%
Obama 52, McCain 40
Rasmussen has Obama back to +6, 51-46. The "Certain to vote for" split is back up as well - O45, M39. (O+6)

The Rasmussen report was conducted entirely after the final debate, so not much change when it comes down to it. As Rasmussen summarizes: "Obama’s support has ranged from 50% to 52% every day for twenty-four straight days while McCain’s total has been between 44% and 46% during those days."

McCain's nasty performance at the final debate actually helped him strengthen his conservative base. Unfortunately, this won't be enough for him.

Obama is now +6 over McCain in Rasmussen (51-45). So a 2-point gain after the last debate (50-46 before debate). So looks like Zogby is the only one showing "tightening"...Outlier anyone?

Unfortunately, this PA tracker has also been tightening. Last week it was +15, +16. Plus 12 is still good, but hopefully it'll stabilize soon.

I don't think there is any chance that Obama will win PA by double digits, so the tightening of the poll numbers there should probably be expected.
If there is any state that is likely to show a Bradley effect, It will probably PA or OH.

STOP POLLIN PA!!!!
Obama doesn't have to win PA by double digits. Even a win by 1% is enough and Obama is guaranteed atleast a win by 5%. So I repeat....
STOP POLLING PA SO FREQUENTLY! MCCAIN IS THE ONLY ONE WAITING FOR PA POLLS (WITH HIS FINGERS CROSSED AND WISPERING PRAYERS)
Posted on October 19, 2008 11:03 AM
The reason for the constant polling of Pa, is b/c no one believes Obama is up by that much...
