Will we be seeing massive media attention telling us how McCain's lead in Colorado has now evaporated in less than one day?

Doubtful. But - relax. Although there is a loud and active minority of loud Rep trolls, this is the most educated electorate in the history of this proud country. The low info voter has been made nearly extinct by the advent of easy access to the internet. ***Anyone remember those old Symms commercials? "An educated consumer is our best customer." The Dems should adopt this, or my new FAV...

I AM NOT AFRAID

I will be suprised if the MSM will even mention this poll. It goes against this weeks neck and neck 'horse race'. The MSM has to milk them advertising $$'s. I do agree that the low info voter has dwindled away over the past cycle via access to the internet....only problem is the average slob out there is being bombarded with a whole slew of MIS-information which can act as a double edged sword.

Looks like the Repub's will be going to the fear well 1 too many times this go around....

As far as Barack keeps latinos on his side by a 2-1 margin, he will have the edge in Colorado

Folks:
Colorado is a toss-up, pure and simple. All 4 July polls - Quinnipac, Rasmussen, PPP and Frederick - have the McCain-Obama difference within MOE.

Colorado will go blue around the time of the convention, and stay blue. Count on it.

Pollster.com has Obama +1.7 in CO. 538 without this poll has McCain 1.5 in CO. RCP without this poll has Obama +1.7. 538 rates CO 2nd most important state after OH. Kerry states plus NM, IA and CO ... and Obama does not need OH or VA or NV or ND or MT. Without CO, Obama need either OH or VA or a series of smaller states.

Without this poll, 538 has Udall +7.7, which would represent another DEM pickup.

The idea that the internet has rendered America safe from "low info" voters is simply not true.

Many, and probably most, voters in the South and in rural areas do not have internet, because they do not have home computers. These people still rely on MSM, radio, and their neighbors and relatives for political info.

Agree Lechuguilla. Sadly people in rural areas don't have the access to information that we enjoy. Some people are even "suspicious" of the internet. So sad, but it is the reality.
