People don't know Flipper, I mean McSame. They hear that his is a Maverick, then assume that he stands against the GOP. McSame is NOT pro-choice, he is NOT environmentalist, he is NOT against Bush's tax policy, more for the rich and the corporations and less for the working class. Once people get to know the real McSame, they will be left wondering where the "Maverick" name tag came from.

This is a poll by an interest group, which corroborates the interests of said interest group, so colour me skeptical.

Did the "balanced" information include, for instance, that Obama opposes a partial birth abortion ban (supported by 2 thirds of Americans)?

The other thing is that the bump taking place with women does not square with the statistics on public opinion regarding abortion. Women are more likely than men to be pro-life.
