POLL: Rasmussen Huckabee vs Obama, Clinton

A new Rasmussen Reports automated survey of 1,200 likely voters nationwide (conducted 11/2 through 11/4) finds former Gov. Mike Huckabee trailing Sen. Barack Obama by 11 points (49% to 38%) and running three points behind Sen. Hillary Clinton (46% to 43%) in general election match-ups.

Oh, right. Like 40% of the country knows who Mike Huckabee is.

DTM:

Huckabee has been getting favorable press coverage ever since his strong showing in Ames, and he has been steadily gaining ground in Republican polls. So, I suspect at least Republicans have indeed become increasingly familiar with him.

By the way, Huckabee strikes me as an extremely likeable candidate, and although this is just one data point, I do think it suggests Clinton in particular might have a problem running against such a person.

Bob:

Well Huckabee should have been the Conservative's dream candidate if he entered later. However, having a president who doesn't believe in evolution seems ridiculous. Still if it's Hillary Huckabee who would win...the hard right states - Huckabee, the hard left states - Hillary, the middle ground states - FL, OH, NM, NV, PA, MO, AK, NH, VA to a lesser extent, etc. would be 2:1 Hillary I think.

Hi, Huckabee has a great sense of humour and looks like a very aimable character; I think he has a genuine chance to be elected president, (although it will be a tough battle).

Huckabee is a douche bag. If you would like WWIII to happen vote for him or any of the other facsicts from the GOP pool.

I think Mr.Huckabee looks presidential. He has the personality to represent this great nation. Sen.Clinton has an ok personality, but not to represent the USA

If you would like to send your neighbor to a Khymer Rouge style re-education camp, vote for Huckabee.

I think that Huckabee tells the truth and is realistic in his thinking. Whereas Senator Clinton tells people what they want to hear. Like in the debate on the 31st of Jan it sounds good that someone wants to unify the Republicans and the Democratics come now lets be realitic that won't happen. Soley because our views are so different. Vote Huckabee

I am disappointed that so many women are not voting for Clinton. I feel they should feel shame for not promoting women as leaders in the USA, especially sense Hillary Clinton is , The Perfect, {Woman} to elect. She is and has always worked for our children, and the men in high office want to send our kids to WAR. Don't you women want to support and protect the well being of your children. Sense beginning of time, men have decided the destiny of our sons and daughters. Why can't you women see this as an opportunity to advance your status. Not only is she a woman, she is far more experienced. You educated woman out there-----I have a college degree too, but even if I didn't I think your are missing the point. The smart thing for you more educated is to vote for Hillary Clinton.
