POLL: Rasmussen Obama vs, Georgia Senate

Two new Rasmussen Reports automated surveys find:

  • Among 800 likely voters nationwide (conducted 9/12 through 9/20), Sen. Barack Obama narrowly leads former Gov. Mitt Romney (46% to 43%) and Sen. John McCain (46% to 41%) in national general election match-ups.
  • Among 500 likely voters in Georgia (conducted 9/12), Sen. Saxby Chambliss leads Democratic candidates Dale Caldwell (49% to 33%) and Vernon Jones (53% to 28%) in statewide general election match-ups for U.S. Senate.

Comments
Dan Chisholm:

This is outstanding news for Mitt. He has made up a lot of ground since the end of July. I won't be surprised in the least if Mitt is leading Obama by next month.

Josh:

The news is also good for Sen. Chambliss who it looks like will cruise to a well deserved re-election.

Jim Smith Sr.:

Sen. Chambliss, best not get too complacent.
Most Georgians still remember who helped author the last 'Immigrant Amnasty Bill'.
I'm sure he doesn't want to be another Gov. "ONE TERM" Barnes. Like our previous
Governor.

Vaughn:

Yeah, he'll cruise to a "well deserved re-election" because Georgians like a Senator who sat on his hands and rubber stamped everything George Bush wanted. Democracy will not be tolerated in GA.

Chambliss and the like are done!
When I sit and talk to any candidate I guarantee them victory. All you have to do is do the math an all the lies become self evident. It is plain as day... we have been had, bamboozled, tricked, ripped off. The pundits like to blame each other and the most convenient scapegoat e.g. gay marriage, illegal immigrants, liberals, conservatives, jews, islamic terrorist just about anyone except themselves. Well let me be one of the first, the problem is me. I have not done my job. As a doctor I have not protected my patients from the scam artists who give themselves euphamistic names like insurance companies, medicaid and medicare, senator, representatives mayors, HMO's PPO's talk show host (Niel Boortz) and the like. These are all rip off artists. They are all either lying or are just plain ignorant about business. To put it simply you do not need assistance to pay for healthcare. Namely because the cost of healthcare is a lie. It simply doesn't cost that much and anyway if you changed HOW AND WHO not HOW MUCH you paid for healthcare, you could easily afford healthcare even at these ridiculous prices. Any candidate and I mean any candidate that sits with me for 45mins will win their election. PERIOD.
