8/9-11/08; 636 LV, 3.9%
McCain 55, Obama 37 (June: McCain 53, Obama 41)
Sen: McConnell (R-i) 52, Lunsford (D) 40 (June: McConnell 50, Lunsford 46)
Somehow if the person's top priority is healthcare, McCain still wins big in Kentucky. I think they have been drinking too much moonshine.

You know the state is pretty backwards if Mccain is winning the 18-34 demographic 50% to 45%. In blue states Obama will win by a 25% plus margin and even plus 30% in core blue states. Additionally, he will win that group by 18%-25% in most swing/red-leaning states. Way to Go Kentucky!!

Just two of the many reasons why Kentuckians view Democrats with distrust.

Obama did not bother with Kentucky in the Dem primaries so why should they bother with him?

There is no surprise in this poll.
