Unsurprising that Obama's approve/disapprove is better with the CBS/NYT poll than elsewhere. But the trend is the same as with every other poll and as a Dem, 50% with all adults in a NYT poll is not where you want to be heading into a midterm election year.

I don't think I've seen one issue that Obama has a positive approval rating on since election day.

You're obviously not looking hard enough FM. Its only been since mid October that he was negative on any issue really.

Not true. Obama's approval was in the positive for the economy and health care for quite some time. Same goes for "overall foreign policy." The slide isn't recent, but he did enjoy about 6-7 months of positive numbers on most issues.
